  • In our community, child abuse statistics are staggering. The Orange County Child Abuse Registry receives more than 100 calls a day reporting cases of child abuse and maltreatment. In 2010, over 18,000 child abuse reports were filed in which over 38,000 children were reported to have suffered physical, emotional, and/or sexual abuse. Sadly, more than 1/3 of abused and neglected children will eventually victimize their own children. Please partner with us to Help Break the Cycle.
  • Become a Volunteer! Our experience has shown that volunteers find our program to be extremely rewarding and gratifying. • The Orange County Child Abuse Prevention Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit directly serving at-risk children and families in crisis to prevent and break the generational cycle of child abuse. We value every child’s right to grow up in a safe and nurturing home environment. Our programs provide critically needed parenting education, case management, and mental health services to families at-risk of abuse in their own homes. Our programs work with parents to create healthier environments for children, ultimately building stronger families. By providing families with the tools and education they need to build nurturing homes, we are breaking the generational cycle of abuse. One child at a time, one family at a time, we are creating stronger families and healthier communities.
