On May 15, 2010, the Child Abuse Prevention Center held its Bright Futures Celebration at the Mission San Juan Capistrano. Set against the backdrop of the historic Mission grounds, this event raised funds for the Prevention Center’s parenting, prevention and mental health programs, while honoring American Technologies, Altigen, Emcor Services and Wells Fargo. Over 175 guests attended, raising $40,000 to support the Prevention Center’s critical programs.
Sponsored by Wells Fargo, US Bank, and the Jewell Family Foundation, the evening kicked off with a large silent auction where a stay at the Intercontinental Mark Hopkins Hotel in San Francisco was auctioned off for a $550 donation. Guests enjoyed complimentary cocktails courtesy of Youngs Market and delicious Spanish themed appetizers as they previewed the live auction items.
