This year’s 13th Annual Bright Futures Celebration on Saturday May 7th was held at the Discovery Science Center in Santa Ana, a new and unique venue for the Prevention Center. Not only was the atmosphere fun and relaxed, it was a huge success raising over $75,000! All thanks to the support of a caring community who strives to break the generational cycle of child abuse.
Almost 200 guests joined us for an evening filled with entertainment, interactive activities, raffles, gourmet food and refreshments including a fabulous martini bar hosted by Absolut.
The Bright Futures Celebration also included a live and silent auction hosted by a very gifted auctioneer, Andrew Bost. Mr. Bost created a spectacular environment that inspired many to bid on the great selection of auction items. One of the most memorable moments came when an extremely generous donor gifted his purchase of a Newport Harbor Bay Cruise to our former client and guest speaker Iris Garcia. It truly was a magical moment for those in attendance!
