In addition to this being one of the most wonderful
times of the year, it’s also the most charitable.
At the Child Abuse Prevention Center, we embrace the holidays
and offer many ways for you to become involved and help families in need.
We are currently holding our annual Adopt-a-Family holiday gift drive. Please join us as we give to others and make a powerful difference in their lives. It also provides you with the great opportunity to help the community alongside your family and friends. We have many families in need, ranging from teen mothers with small children to bountiful families of seven or more.
Year-end contributions are another great way to get into the spirit of the season and help out a worthy cause. For only $2,400, the Child Abuse Prevention Center can offer an entire year of services to one child’s family, as compared to $4,800 yearly for foster care, and up to $72,000 a year for emergency or group home care. By making a year-end contribution, you’re not only helping someone in need, but you’re investing in an organization whose values reflect your own.
Another method of making a difference is to give a gift to the Prevention Center in the name of a loved one. They will be touched by your generosity and honored by your goodwill.
