The Child Abuse Prevention Center serves a wide range of families, many of whom are struggling to meet the most basic needs for their children. Contributions of household items from individuals, corporations and foundations are needed and greatly appreciated. Please review our wish list and let us know if you can provide any of the many needed items below.
The top three most requested items:
- Diapers – Sizes needed are: 4, 5, 6
- Car Seats – MUST BE BRAND NEW due to safety and recall issues
- Linens – including Sheets, Blankets, Pillows, Comforters and Crib Sheets and Crib Bedding
The following items are frequently requested:
- Baby Items: High Chairs, Strollers, Changing Tables, Baby Formula, Baby Wipes
- Exersaucers
- Safety Gates
- Safety Supplies – door knob locks, cupboard locks, electrical outlet covers
- Gift Certificates – Target, Wal-Mart, grocery stores (Superior, Stater Bros. Food 4 Less)
- Bedding – Blankets, sheets, pillows
- Orange County Bus Passes
- School Supplies
- Toiletry Items – Deodorant, Toothpaste & Toothbrushes, Shampoo & Conditioner, Lotions,
- Shavers and Shaving Gel, Hair Brushes, Combs
- Household Cleaning Products
- Children’s Clothing – New or Gently Used, Infant to Teenage Size
- New or Gently Used Athletic Shoes
- Household Appliances- Microwaves, Lamps, Vacuums
- Pots and Pans
- Dishes and Eating Utencils for 4 or More
- Furniture and larger appliances are accepted by special arrangement.

- Cribs- Due to Recalls
