Help the Child Abuse Prevention Center raise critically needed funds and donate holiday gifts for families enrolled in our programs. Together, we can support those in need through the holidays and provide them with life’s basic necessities.

Lana Suarez has a daughter named Sophie who has been in foster care since birth due to Lana's past drug use, homelessness and overall instability. Over the last six months, we have been working with her on rebuilding her life and reuniting her family. Through our In-Home Coach program, Lana has completed parenting classes and is enrolled in attachment disorder counseling and individual therapy. She is also currently drug testing and attending a 12-step program.
Lana is also able to spend time with Sophie through our Monitored Visitation and Supervision program. There, Lana has learned proper communication and interaction skills, as well as a greater understanding of Sophie’s mental and physical development. Hopefully the family will be reunited in the next 60 days.
