KidCare Campaign 2010
In 2009, more than 37,000 incidents of child abuse were reported to Orange County authorities. On average, 101 children were reported to be experiencing abuse every day. Unfortunately, studies show that over 30 percent of all abused and neglected children will continue this dangerous cycle with their own children.
Join us as we launch this year’s KidCare “Making a Difference” Campaign and help stem the tide of child abuse in at-risk families.
Become Involved:
Make a Change Campaign
Invest in families at-risk of abuse while supporting the Prevention Center. Sign up as an organization or family and begin collecting your spare change. On April 24th, bring your collected change to Irvine Park where it will be counted and prizes awarded.
Percent of Sales Promotion
Partner your restaurant, retail location or local business with the Prevention Center to create awareness about child abuse while you donate a percentage of your sales during the month of April. The amount you choose to give is entirely up to you.
Make a General Donation
Click here and make a donation to our organization. Ninety-two cents of every dollar donated goes directly to funding the Prevention Center’s programs.
