 Overview
Since 1983, the Child Abuse Prevention Center’s programs have permanently and positively changed the lives of more than 184,000 children and their parents. The Prevention Center currently offers a variety of programs that address the issues of child abuse and family violence, and the underlying social, environmental, and medical factors that can contribute to this devastating social issue. Our main goal is to ensure that children are raised in a healthy and safe environment while developing the necessary social and emotional skills to become active members of society.
