Bilingual Vietnamese Casework Specialist – Home Visitation Infant Program

The Child Abuse Prevention Center is seeking a part time, 10 hour a week, bilingual Vietnamese casework specialist for its Infant Home Visitation program. Infant Home Visitation serves high risk families, with children aged 0- 17 months that could benefit from a program that includes parent education and linkages to community resources. Caseworkers use the Keys to Interactive Parenting curriculum to work in home with participants.  In addition Caseworkers provide activities to increase attachment, strengthen bonding opportunities, provide developmental screenings and educate parents about home and car safety, nutrition, immunizations, healthy development, oral health, and school readiness.

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field
  • One year related experience required, 2 years  preferred
  • Bilingual English/Vietnamese required
  • Access to reliable vehicle and current car insurance
