The Child Abuse Prevention Center is seeking Part Time (10 hours per week) Casework Specialist for its Toddler Home Visitation Program. The Toddler Home Visitation Casework Specialist provides in-home parenting education and case management services that promote positive child outcomes. Key areas of responsibility include: In home visits focusing on parent education, problem solving and case management, parenting education using the Triple P Curriculum; conducting assessments; coordination with referral resources and other agencies as needed; assist in public education activities as needed; maintain case files in accordance with the Children and Families Commission; provide, monitor and record case management activities in accordance with Targeted Case Management protocols; track family progress, perform developmental screenings, home safety checks, oral health education and immunization screenings; providing transportation for families under certain conditions. This position reports to the Toddler Home Visitation Program Supervisor.
- Bachelor’s degree in human services or a related field
- 1 year related experience required, 2 years preferred
- Must possess a valid driver license, auto insurance and a reliable car with working seat belts
- Bi-lingual in English/Spanish or English/Vietnamese required
- Triple P Certification (agency can provide)
