The Child Abuse Prevention Center is seeking a Full Time Grant Manager to share our passion in serving at-risk children and families in crisis. Working in a strengths-based and collaborative environment, the Grant Manager uses solid communication and organizational skills to manage the entire grant application and reporting system for the organization. The position develops and writes letter of inquiry, concept papers and proposals in support of the Child Abuse Prevention Center and our mission to prevent and break the generational cycle of child abuse. Responsibilities include identifying new grant opportunities, ensure quality grants are prepared and presented and managing the grant calendar. Position reports to the Manager of Program Development and Support.
- Bachelors degree
- Superior writing, editing, and verbal communications skills; ability to turn data into narrative form.
- Strong project management, administrative and organizational skills, including documentation, record-keeping, and reporting.
- 2 years of related experience working with foundations and state and federal grants preferred
