Mental Health Professional – In Home Mental Health Program

The Child Abuse Prevention Center is seeking a Bilingual Spanish, Temporary Full Time Mental Health Professional through June 30, 2016 for its In Home Mental Health program.  The goal of the program is to bring mental health support to isolated parents and community members of all ages.  Services are conducted primarily in the participant’s homes throughout Orange County.  Clinical supervision under an LMFT provided.

Duties include but are not limited to:  1) Provide home based short term individual mental health services to clients and families;  2) Provide consultation to Casework Specialists/Program Managers regarding mental health issues of clients who are actively open;  3) Provide crisis counseling to clients as needed;  4) Provide related education and community outreach.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology or related field required
  • Experience with families and children is preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish required
  • Registration with BBS required
