Mental Health Professional

The Child Abuse Prevention Center is seeking a Bilingual Spanish, Part-Time Mental Health Professional, for its Outreach and Engagement program.  The goal of the program is to bring mental health support to any underserved community member of all ages.  Services are conducted primarily in the participant’s homes in the Central Region of Orange County.  Clinical supervision under an LMFT provided.

Duties include but are not limited to:  1) Provide home based short term individual mental health services to clients and families;  2) Provide consultation to Casework Specialists/Program Managers regarding mental health issues of clients who are actively open;  3) Provide crisis counseling to clients as needed;  4) Provide related education and community outreach.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology or related field required
  • Experience with adults, families and children is preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish required
  • Registration with BBS required
