Nordstrom Awards $5,000 Grant to the Child Abuse Prevention Center

Anaheim, CA. (February 6, 2018) – The Orange County Child Abuse Prevention Center is proud to announce a $5,000 grant from Nordstrom for the non-profit’s In-Home Family Services Program.  This is the first grant from Nordstrom for the Child Abuse Prevention Center.

Nordstrom, the Seattle-based fashion retailer which operates 365 stores across the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico, is dedicated to giving back to the communities that they serve.  The majority of Nordstrom-directed contributions focus on programs and organizations that care for kids and empower youth.

The Nordstrom grant will be used to support the Child Abuse Prevention Center’s In-Home Family Services and will directly help children through one of many in-home programs offered by the Center, including those that provide suicide prevention, mental health therapy, developmental assessments, parenting education for mothers and fathers, and home safety checks.
