The Child Abuse Prevention Center is seeking a Full-Time Participant Enrollment Specialist for its South Orange County, School Readiness Program. The focus of the program is to reach out to families with infants, toddlers, and children up to age 6 years 11 months with potential developmental or behavioral issues who have been overlooked in order to prepare the family to support their child’s transition to school.
This program is comprised of a dedicated team that provides direct service to clients and serves as a resource for families and their children in South Orange County cities. Services are provided primarily in the home and to accommodate the client and family’s schedule. All services are provided in South Orange County.
Duties include but are not limited to: 1) Coordinate with Program Team regarding newly enrolled participants; 2) Recruit child and family services providers and community members to help expand the early identification awareness message in South Orange County; 3) Distribute School Readiness Programs program cards, flyers, and brochures to South Orange County parents, caregivers, organizations serving children and families, and community individuals or groups that can spread the word to parents and caregivers; 4) Connect with children and families at community gatherings and groups at both evening and weekend events; 5) Facilitate screening and enrollment events at South Orange County Schools and other community venues; 6) Travel is required throughout South Orange County.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Human Services or related field
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
- Access to reliable vehicle and current car insurance
- Valid California Drivers’ License
- Live Scan finger printing and TB test required
