Program Supervisor – Toddler Home Visitation Program

The Child Abuse Prevention Center (CAPC) is seeking a full-time Program Supervisor for its Toddler Home Visitation Program.

The Program Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all facets of the Toddler Home Visitation program designed to serve high risk families, with a toddler between the ages of 18 months and 5 years old.  The program uses Positive Parenting Program (Triple P) curriculum in order to help parents learn to manage their toddler’s misbehavior.  The caseworkers also provide case management, developmental screenings, oral health education, home safety checks, and more.

Key areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:  1) Program development and administration; 2) Service delivery; 3) Staff supervision (6 caseworkers); 4) Reporting and budgeting.  This position is responsible for the consistent achievement of both program goals and funding requirements while ensuring a commitment to program service excellence in accordance with the Child Abuse Prevention Center’s goals and objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in social work, family therapy, or related field
  • Five years of demonstrated supervisory experience preferred
  • Experience working with young children and families including health education and social/emotional development
  • Knowledge of the child welfare system, maternal child health systems, early learning, and early childhood mental health
  • Certification in Triple P is preferred but not required
